Ana Victoria Jankowski is a third year student pursuing a Combined Honours in Humanities and Greek and Roman Studies. After moving to Canada from Argentina in 2021, Ana struggled with feeling involved in the Canadian education system. This experience deeply influenced Ana’s outlook on education. Ever since beginning her journey at Carleton University in 2023, Ana has been an active member in the College of Humanities. Through participating in outreach efforts, serving as an executive member in several clubs, and mentoring younger students, Ana strives to foster an environment of collective accountability to include marginalized students and advocate for their academic success.

I’m an engineering student who cares about making sure students’ voices are heard. In high school, I helped organize and take part in student clubs, where I learned how to communicate ideas and bring people together to get things done. As a CUSA representative, I’ll focus on promoting engineering students, improving access to resources, and supporting projects that make student life better. Most importantly, I’ll listen to what students have to say and work to turn their ideas into action!

Hello FPGA, My Name is Andrew Dinh and I am a first year political science student.

As a student who has been involved in their high school council, I believe that students deserve to understand what their own council, or union, is doing behind the scenes. As FPGA CUSA councillor, I will post short videos (yes, videos) on my Instagram account regularly to let you be more informed of CUSA decisions so that you can better understand and scrutinize them. I will sit in the Finance, Fees, and Funds Committee to give you a better picture of where your money is going. Hello! My name is Kennedy Durrell-Vander Meulen and I am a first year Astrophysics student with a passion for Canadian politics. This interest has long been driven by a dedication to animal rights, human rights and a determination to make things better for my community. Since grade school, I have participated in or been elected to various roles representing students. This experience has fostered the skills required to be a strong faculty voice.

My approach has always been to listen first, then firmly advocate for you. Already, I have heard from many of you and I will start by advocating for a Physics study room. Being in STEM requires a lot of support which is why this will be one of my top priorities. From there, I will work hard to improve student services, events and clubs for all Science students. I’m originally from Montreal’s South Shore and currently a 2nd year student studying in Computer Science: Cybersecurity with a minor in Biology.
