After careful consideration by the Board of Directors (“Board”), the Executive Director of the Carleton University Students’ Association (“CUSA”) is no longer actively employed by the organization.
The Board, in exercising their authority under the relevant CUSA Policies and provincial legislation, approved this change in executive leadership in line with the Board’s duty to maintain the best interests of CUSA and the Carleton undergraduate students it represents.
CUSA’s day-to-day operations, including student services, advocacy work, and event programming will continue without disruption. Students will see uninterrupted access to CUSA supports and will be able to engage with the organization as usual.
We provide this statement in an effort to remain transparent as we maintain appropriate levels of privacy. Accordingly, CUSA cannot share any further details at this time.
The Board of Directors remains steadfast in its obligation to ensure the organization’s responsible governance, sound corporate oversight, and accountability in the best interests of all Carleton undergraduate students, in accordance with CUSA Policies and provincial legislation.
