Our spaces are open for students during opening hours. CDAC offers accessible lounge and drop-in spaces for all students.
Hours
Monday: 10am-6pm
Tuesday: 10am-2pm and 4:15pm-6pm
Wednesday: 10am-6pm
Thursday: 10am-2pm and 4:15pm-6pm
Friday: 10am-6pm
About CDAC
CDAC is a peer support, advocacy, and community space for students who experience disability, chronic illness, neurodiversity, or inaccessibility. CDAC is designed to act as a forum for disability issues, providing events, and advocating for the issues important to the Carleton Community. CDAC runs events such as distress with pets, sex and disability workshops, and fidget toy workshops.
Access CDAC supports, equipment, and community-based services designed to reduce barriers and support student well-being.
- Peer Support Booking: Book a one-on-one peer support session with one of CDAC coordinators for guidance, navigation, and accessibility related support including referrals to a variety of community resources!
- Mobility and Wellness Device Sign Out: Request short-term, free access to mobility and wellness devices through CDAC.
- Assistive Tools: Visit CDAC for supports including a brailler and screen reader access.
- CUSA Accessibility Fund: Apply for accessibility funding to support individual or group accessibility needs for events, initiatives, or participation.
- Programming: CDAC hosts inclusive workshops and community programming such as distress with pets, craft workshops, sensory hours, and other drop-in events designed to support connection, accessibility, and well-being.
