Transit Panel and Q&A

Take the bus to school? Passionate about transit issues in Ottawa? Want to hear from your representatives and ask them questions? 

CUSA will be hosting its very own Transit Panel and Q&A event on Oct. 10 2024, at 5:30 p.m. in the Nideyinàn (UC) 4th floor galleria!

Come listen to MPP Joel Harden, local City Councillor Shawn Menard, and community representatives from Horizon Ottawa, Free Transit Ottawa, and the Ottawa Transit Riders discuss the current state of bus and light rail service in Ottawa, and how it impacts students. You’ll hear perspectives from the province, the city, and the work of not-for-profits and community organizations.

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions to any member of the panel, and there will be catering/snacks available throughout the event!
