CUSA Climate Task Force is a group of five volunteers, led by the Vice President, Student Issues, tasked with addressing the climate crisis through advocacy, events, and sustainability-geared programming.
CUSA is proud to offer personal-sized blue bins and recycling information free-of-charge to students. Bins are available during tabling events or at the CUSA office upon request.
CUSA is an official endorser of the global Fridays for Future “Draw the Line” March and participates in rallies and off-campus advocacy to highlight the severity of the climate emergency.
Every year, CUSA collects thousands of plastic, aluminum, and glass containers and sustainably recycles them — all the while paying students for every container they bring in!
Climate Force volunteers worked with EnviroCentre to help plant hundreds of small-scale, densely planted native plants at Carleton as part of the “Tiny Forest” initiative.
The Climate Task Force partners with Campus to Community at the Student Experience Office to offer a post-Panda Game community cleanup event in The Glebe.
