About Mawandoseg

The Mawandoseg Centre aims to be a safe(r) space for Indigenous students at Carleton and works to address the specific needs of the various Indigenous communities in and around the university. The Centre is also the leading point of contact for non-Indigenous students looking to connect and learn more about Indigenous cultures and histories.

Aurora Ominika Enosse
she/her

Aurora is Anishinaabe from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. She currently studies social work here at Carleton where she works towards creating a culture/land-based approach to social work to ensure that Indigenous youth remain connected to their culture. A little fun fact about her is that she loves to kickbox!
