Clary Chambers on Resilience, Mental Health and Resources
October 18, 2017 @ 11:00 am - October 19, 2017 @ 3:00 pm
Clary provides upbeat talks that focus on building resilience, overcoming obstacles, and empowering participants to live their most authentic lives. With a focus on mental health, well-being, and self-care, students are reminded that their best work can only come when they are investing in themselves. These signature talks will speak to the core values of Pop the Stigma, as well reflect on Clary’s experience as a car accident survivor who lives with chronic pain. Clary tackles difficult topics with humor while providing goal setting techniques that inspire participants long after the workshops are complete. As a recent Human Rights Graduate of Carleton University (2016), past volunteer for Pop the Stigma (2012 & 2013), CUSA employee, Paul Menton Centre for Students with Disabilities (PMC) student and patient with Carleton Health & Counselling Services, Clary’s talk are relatable and inspirational!
Clary will be speaking at Carleton at 3 different times this Wednesday and Thursday on different topics, following the following Schedule.
Wednesday and Thursday
12:00 pm Resilience
1:30 pm Mental Health and Resources
3:00 pm Wellbeing
