Can’t fix the glitch? Make IT Solutions More Accessible for Students.
Tech repairs can be expensive, especially on a student budget. On-campus services are limited, and sometimes students are forced to overpay for off-campus services. We will address this by creating honorarium opportunities/funding for Engineering, Computer Science students, and students with an interest in IT to provide consultation and repair services to other students. We will also feature tech education opportunities, so that students can learn about various devices, before and after purchasing their own device.
Your Voice, Your Carleton. Empowering Students to Make a Difference.
Carleton is undergoing a lot of changes in the next few years, and we want to make sure that your voice is heard. We will create and facilitate consultation groups for university-wide initiatives, such as Ravens Road, 2021 Residence Building, Wellness Building, and more. Participants will be able to gain skills, resume experience and CCR credit, while offering a voice in shaping the future of our planet.
Don’t know what’s happening on campus? Let’s Create a New Portal for Clubs & Societies.
While CUSA hub is temporarily down, we have an opportunity to replace it and add new features that are better suited to your needs. We will create a new database for clubs and societies, based on evaluations and feedback from Clubs and Society members. This will also feature a Master Events Calendar for all Carleton events to help promote student-run initiatives, and will be shareable across multiple social media platforms.
Get Rewards for your Club’s Success - Clubs Recognition and Competitions
Clubs and Societies do so much for our community, and they deserve more recognition. We want to revamp the CUSA Clubs Conference to give your club/society more opportunities to collect perks. This includes introducing a journal/passport system, which clubs/societies can submit to receive rewards for all of their hard work.
Got Questions? Coffee Dates with your CUSA Councillors.
CUSA Councillors represent you. Let’s make sure they are accessible. We want to coordinate regularly scheduled coffee dates with CUSA Councillors. This gives students a safe and accessible opportunity to chat about the issues that they care about, while enjoying free coffee on us.
